Elizabeth Maher (EiC 2008-2009) Wins the 2009 Burton Award

The George Mason Law Review is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Maher, the 2008 Adrian S. Fisher Award winner and Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review in 2008-2009, is a 2009 Burton Award Law School Winner.

The Burton Awards, established in 1999, is a non-profit program run in association with the Library of Congress. Student awards are given each year to fifteen law school students from across the nation whose articles exemplify effective legal writing in plain and concise language.
