			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <em>George Mason Law Review</em>, in partnership with the George Mason Law and Economics Center and sponsor Kelley Drye &amp; Warren LLP, invites you to attend its 15th Annual Symposium on Antitrust Law on Thursday, January 26, 2012. The event will take place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in Founders Hall on the Arlington Campus of George Mason University. CLE credits are available.</p>
<p>Featuring four distinguished panels of speakers, the symposium, entitled <strong>Antitrust in High-Tech Industries</strong>, will focus on the proper role of antitrust in high-technology industries, including the extent to which current competition policy is adequate to address dynamic competition concerns that are prevalent in rapidly evolving sectors.</p>

<p>Peter Cockrell is the recipient of a 2011 Distinguished Writing Award from the Burton Foundation for his student comment, <em><a href="http://www.georgemasonlawreview.org/doc/COCKRELL-17-Geo-Mason-L-Rev-1149-2010.pdf" target="_blank">Subprime Solutions to the Housing Crisis: Constitutional Problems with the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act of 2009</a></em>. Founded in 1999, the Burton Awards program is run in association with the Library of Congress and its Law Library. Nominations for the award are made by law school deans and managing partners of the 1000 largest U.S. law firms. Fifteen Burton Award law school winners are selected annually from law schools across the nation to receive this award, which honors partners in law firms and law students who set a high standard for clarity and effectiveness in legal writing.
